With its central focus on cultural competence and a culture of belonging, the primary mission of the doctoral program in Counseling Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin is to prepare students to conduct empirical research and develop clinical skills to promote the health of individuals, families, groups, and organizations in a pluralistic society. The program’s mission is in alignment with the College of Education’s signature impact areas:

  3. Thriving through Transitions.

Accreditation
