In the fall, 70-100 educational organizations take advantage of this prime opportunity to recruit students from our top-ranked COE programs. Organizations attending the Fair are limited to entities interested in hiring our teacher graduates.
**Update**: Effective Spring 2016, Alternative Teacher Certification Programs must attend our Kinesiology and Health Education (KHE) Internship and Job Fair rather than this fair.
Parking for the Frank Erwin Center is limited.
Future Teacher Attendees
Our fairs welcome teacher certification candidates and graduate students from the Colleges of Education, Natural Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Fine Arts, and the School of Information. The fairs are also open to the general public. Attendance in the fall ranges from 150 to 250 and in the spring from 250 to 350. For school districts and other educational organizations, the career fairs are a prime opportunity to recruit students from our top-ranked programs.
Each recruiting entity is responsible for scheduling and conducting its own afternoon interviews. Recruiters should bring adequate copies of materials, since there is no access to a copier at the Frank Erwin Center.
Recruiters may conduct additional on-campus interviews in the Sanchez Building (SZB) beginning the day after the fair. Please contact Career Services to reserve post-event on-campus interviews at (512) 471-1306 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Basic Registration – $125.00 Includes one table, chairs, breakfast, and lunch for one recruiter. Additional Recruiters – $20.00 for each. Includes breakfast and lunch. Electrical Outlet – $30.00 Wireless Internet Access – $30.00 In order to provide wireless Internet access during the event, a username and password will be set up for those requesting access. IMPORTANT: Access to UT-Austin's free Wireless Public Internet is not available at the Erwin Center. If you choose "NO," you will not have wi-fi at the Erwin Center. Internet access cannot be requested on the day of the fair. Additional Table – $30.00 Payment Options - Choose from Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, or Diners Club), Check, or Purchase Order within the registration module. Proceeds may be used in general support of the College of Education.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation/refund policy is intended to keep costs low for attendees. Due to financial obligations incurred by The University of Texas at Austin College of Education, Career Services, you must cancel your registration prior to the start of the event. Registration fees will be refunded minus a $15 processing fee.
Cancellations received 7 or fewer calendar days prior to the event are subject to an additional $25 processing fee ($40 total processing fee).
No refunds will be provided for cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
Those who do not cancel and do not attend are responsible for the full registration fee.
