Bridget brings more than 20 years of experience in communication, marketing and brand management to the College of Education. In her role as director, she sets the strategy for the ways in which we communicate with our various audiences including faculty, prospective and current graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, donors and media. The majority of her experience has been with higher education and healthcare at organizations such at UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Seton, and The University of Texas at Austin. Her diverse background also includes marketing for high tech consulting, general commercial construction, and historic preservation.

Albert DegolladoAlbert Degollado
Digital Strategist

Albert oversees the College of Education's website and digital strategy. Prior to working in higher education Albert was an assistant creative director for a digital creative agency in Austin, where he led teams of designers and developers to create unique and effective solutions for mobile, web, video, and social media. When Albert isn't behind a computer or mobile device, he enjoys taking long country drives with his family in Buda.

Sibyl KaufmanSibyl Kaufman
Communication Strategist

Sibyl creates data-driven marketing solutions and strategic branding opportunities for the college. A former music teacher in Texas and English instructor in Japan, she is an experienced educator with a passion for supporting education innovation with communication planning. Sibyl earned her master’s degree from Boston University where she majored in International Relations and Communication. Her graduate research examined intercultural education initiatives in France and Northern Ireland and student support structures at the Fulbright Commission in London. Before her arrival at UT Austin, Sibyl served as the national data manager for alternative high school non-profit, Diploma Plus, and as the marketing and communication manager for the Texas International Education Consortium.

Susan works with College of Education faculty and staff members to ensure their messages reach their intended audiences through the college’s website. She has extensive experience doing similar work for other colleges at the university and cares deeply about her clients, the college’s mission, and working to ensure that the website is fully accessible. Susan also enjoys volunteering for a local animal rescue organization, making music with friends, and spending time with her family. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.

Dan MagorrianDan Magorrian
Web Content & Informational Writer

Dan specializes in creating content for the web that is direct, concise and informative. Working with the web team and faculty, he ensures that people can easily find the information that they need. Dan earned a Dual bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in Communication and Economics while also completing a study abroad program in Seoul, South Korea. Before joining UT, Dan worked in the communication teams of both Fortune 150 companies and small independent businesses. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and going on multi-day hikes with friends.


Christina MurreyChristina Murrey 

Christina is the visual storyteller of our team, bringing the College of Education’s research and human-interest stories to life through video and photography. After a decade working in higher ed, Christina instinctively creates comfortable spaces for professors and students to tell their stories, expertly weaving them into the college’s shared narrative. Not only is she passionate about research and education, Christina delights in speaking Spanish, talking about her beloved cats, and traveling near and far with her equally adventurous partner in crime. She is also a Fulbright scholar (Bolivia, 2000) with a master’s degree in photojournalism from The University of Texas at Austin.

Yvonne TaylorM. Yvonne Taylor
Strategic Storyteller

Yvonne is the point of contact for media and helps define and share the college’s broader story—its research, teaching, and student successes—to build comprehensive understanding about the college and to build its brand reputation. Yvonne’s extensive experience in higher education communications and marketing includes eight years at Rice University, where she was assistant director of publications and minority community affairs and, most recently, associate director of intellectual capital. She also enjoys teaching and has taught English and writing at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Yvonne earned a degree in English from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in liberal arts from Southern Methodist University.
