Colette Pierce Burnette

Dr. Pierce Burnette is an impactful servant leader. Having served as the President of the oldest HBCU in the State of Texas, Huston Tillotson University, for many years Dr. Pierce Burnette created and launched dozens of life changing programs supporting the most vulnerable student populations. Dr. Pierce Burnette continues to be a leader in the domain of equity and student success and has received numerous awards and recognition for her impact. Dr. Pierce Burnette is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania and has taught the Social Justice Leadership course and currently teaches the Systems of Higher Education course in the Executive Ed.D. program.
