The National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Region III has awarded Beth Bukoski, clinical assistant professor and assistant program coordinator in the Department of Educational Administration, with its Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs through Teaching award. NASPA chose Bukoski based on her nomination by educational administration graduate student Saralyn McKinnon-Crowley, and for her work to transform higher education through exceptional service to students.
Bukoski is, in addition to her role within the Program in Higher Education Leadership in the College of Education, a faculty affiliate with the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. Her teaching focuses on diversity and social justice issues, and her research delves into the intersectionality of identity.
