Higher Education Leadership Alumna Awarded Dissertation of the Year by AABHE

Department of Educational Leadership and Policy alumnus Anthony Heaven was recently awarded fourth place in the Dissertation of the Year Award by the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education. Heaven's dissertation, "The Experiences of African American Frontline Gift Officers at Predominantly White Institutions," will be presented at the AABHE National Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Heaven currently works as the Associate Director of Donor Engagement at the University of Florida. 

The American Association of Blacks in Higher Education works to represent African Americans in higher education on national and international levels and is an outgrowth of the Black Caucus, a component of the former American Association of Higher Education (AAHE).
