Da Hei Ku is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Specialization in Early Childhood Education. Her research focuses on how social context influences education as a whole and families, communities, teachers, and policy in particular. In her work, Da Hei examines the intersectionalities of class, race, and gender. Before UT, she taught bilingual Pre-Kindergarten on the South Side of Chicago through Teach for America.
