Dani Lindo is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy studying Education Policy and Planning. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and English Literature from the University of Southern California and an M.Ed. in Urban Education from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Prior to her doctoral studies, Dani was a secondary science educator teaching in traditional public schools in Los Angeles and Austin. She was also employed as a behavioral interventionist working with children with Autism and developmental delays in both home and classroom environments. Her personal and professional experiences inform and inspire her interests in gentrification, neoliberal housing policies, residential segregation, school segregation, and teacher labor markets.
