Heather Dunham is a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin in the Language & Literacy Studies program within the Curriculum & Instruction department. Previously, Heather taught second and third grade emergent bilinguals in Nashville, TN. Her research focuses on culturally sustaining and anti-racist literacy pedagogies as well as coaching and mentoring of preservice teachers.
