Quinn McCall is a master’s student in the Education Policy and Planning program within the Department of Education at The University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include mathematics education, standardized testing, and issues related to teacher wellbeing. Currently working as a lobbying intern at the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, Quinn meets with legislators and their staff to advise on the potential effects of draft legislation and how best to modify it to best solve the issues it aims to address. He also works as a graduate research assistant at the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk within the University, assisting in the SCALE project, a fourth-grade fractions intervention being tested throughout schools in Central Texas.

Quinn earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. He is originally from Austin, Texas and looks forward to becoming an influential voice in the educational policy arena in the years to come.
