All Teacher Certification Programs

The University of Texas at Austin offers several avenues to gain teacher certification. Typically, you will choose a major in your field, and complete a professional development sequence. Several colleges throughout the university offer programs that lead to teacher certification. Students in any of these programs will need to follow the steps to becoming a teacher in order to sit for certification exams and be recommended for teacher certification.

Certification programs are offered for undergraduates, non-degree seeking postbaccalaureates, and graduate master’s students. Use the tables below to determine what school and what major will lead to your desired teacher certification.
