COE Career Closet Summer Donation Drive

Help our student dress for success! The Career Engagement Team is holding a summer Donation Drive and asking for new or gently used professional clothing. These donations will be added to the COE Career Closet where current students can shop, free of charge, for professional attire. 

Please bring donations to the Dr. Teresa Lozano Long Student Services Center (SZB 2.110) in a bag(s) with your name or the name of your department and the number of total clothing items written on them.

Items most in need:

• Suit jackets and blazers
• Dress skirts
• Black and brown belts
• Dress shoes, heels and flats
• Neck ties and bow ties
• New hangers

Accepted Items:

• Dress shirts and blouses: long and short sleeves
• Dress pants and slacks
• Professional dresses
• New dress socks
• Portfolios, briefcases, laptop bags and purses
• Professional accessories (e.g., jewelry)

Items not accepted:

• T-shirts
• Shorts and non-professional pants (e.g., sweatpants)
• Sneakers
• Hats and hair accessories
• Undergarments
• Casual clothing and accessories
• Ripped, dirty, stained or overly-worn clothing
• Hoodies or winter coats
