Study highlights inaccuracies in algorithms used to forecast student success

Algorithms used by many colleges and universities to predict student success are likely to frequently foretell worse outcomes for racially minoritized groups, according to new research published by AERA Open, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Educational Research Association.
