James Lee • Assistant Professor
Department of Special Education Assistant Professor James Lee was awarded the Minority Health Research Grant by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Dr. Lee will serve as Principal Investigator of the grant, along with a CO-PI faculty member at Baylor University. The project will help to develop modular intervention for underserved caregivers of young children awaiting autism diagnostic evaluation. The researchers will use evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Research Unit in Behavioral Intervention (RUBI), and Enhanced Milieu Training (EMT).
