E3 Alliance Fellows
COE Graduate Students
The College of Education proudly congratulates three COE graduate students who were selected for The Susan Dawson Fellowship by E3 Alliance, a regional, data-driven collaborative. Daniel Choung, Yousef Elsayed, and Catalina Vasquez were selected for the 10-week, paid fellowship that provides students with hands-on experience in the field of education nonprofits. The fellowship honors the founder of E3 Alliance, Susan Dawson, and is meant to recognize students who are trailblazers in using data to improve education for students.
Choung, who is seeking a master’s degree in exercise physiology, is using his fellowship to focus on education benchmark and metrics data research. Elsayed is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education doctoral candidate who explores the intersection of STEM and education policy as an education policy fellow. Vasquez is a doctoral candidate in education leadership and policy who serves as a data resources and competitor analysis research fellow.
