The College of Education would like to congratulate three graduate students for being selected for the 2022 Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) Graduate Fellowship Award. Diana Cervantes, Reyna Flores and Gabriel Rodriguez Lemus, Jr., all PhD students in the Program in Higher Education Leadership in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy, received $2,000 fellowships in recognition of their accomplishments.
The fellowships are awarded to Texas residents pursuing graduate studies in community college education and leadership, and/or other graduate or professional academic programs. The students were recently recognized at the 47th Annual TACHE State Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
TACHE is a professional association committed to the improvement of educational and employment opportunities for Chicanos in higher education.
