Angie House is a doctoral student in Language and Literacy Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to returning to graduate school, she taught for 23 years as an elementary school teacher and elementary instructional coach in central Texas. These teaching experiences continue to inform her research in the realities of classroom practice.
Angie's research interests include teacher mentoring, early-career teacher induction, and teacher sense-making of current literacy curricula policy.
