Noor Khalayleh is a doctoral student in the Program of Higher Education and Leadership within the Educational Leadership and Policy department at the University of Texas at Austin. She currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant with Dr. Liliana Garces. Noor has a B.A. in Psychology from Youngstown State University and a M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University.

As a Muslim Arab-American, Noor's research interests largely focus on Muslim and Arab college students and their experiences in U.S. post-secondary education. Her interests take on a critical and transformative approach that critique systems of oppression and colonization in higher education as well as explore sustainable and equitable solutions to existing issues in academia. Noor's research aims to advance Muslim and Arab student development, leadership, advocacy, and learning in post-secondary education.
