The College of Education is honored to present the George I. Sánchez exhibit, on display in the historic Sánchez building, celebrating a visionary leader and champion of civil rights who exemplified strength in the face of adversity.

Dr. Stephanie W. Cawthon, a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, has authored a new book entitled “Disability is Human: The Vital Power of Accessibility in Everyday Life,” where she shares experiences of disabled people and issues of equity, accommodations and education.
