Description

The Department of Educational Psychology invites all College of Education faculty, staff and students for an end-of-year celebration to recognize EDP’s recently promoted faculty and graduate students.

Registration is kindly requested, and attendees are welcome to join in for all or parts of the program. Desserts and refreshments will be provided.

1:00 p.m. – Welcome and Faculty Presentations
Hear from two recently promoted faculty about their current research:

  • Statistical Modeling of Student Interaction Data from Computer-Interactive Assessments – Dr. Hyeon-Ah Kang, Assistant Professor
  • Who is Part of the “Mindset Context”? The Unique Roles of Perceived Professor and Peer Mindsets in Undergraduate Engineering Students’ Motivation and Belonging – Dr. Katherine Muenks, Assistant Professor

2:00 p.m. – Graduate Student Lightning Talks
Engage with graduate students from across the department and learn about their current research and upcoming projects.

3:00 p.m. – Celebrate the Class of 2024
Join us in celebrating our graduating master’s and doctoral students. Graduates are encouraged to bring their regalia for pictures.
