Arna Erega, a native of Croatia, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed to practice in the states of Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. Dr. Erega is serving as an interim training director for the M.Ed. in Counselor Education program. For the past three years, she has been in the role of a Counseling and Community Outreach Coordinator specializing in International students at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Erega's professional and research interests include working with international students and athletic populations. She is interested in the implementation of self-care practices among international students, identity development, and the use of multicultural approaches in clinical settings. Regarding the athletic populations, her research encompasses the experiences of student-athletes who train and compete through injuries, the impact of injuries on one's identity, the use of mental skills, and the overall effect of mental health on athletic performance.
