Welcome to the Hook ’Em Here: Harlingen Internship Program, an exciting and enriching summer opportunity for undergraduate students interested in education, health and youth and community studies at the College of Education. This program offers valuable, hands-on experience by immersing students in the vibrant Rio Grande Valley community in south Texas. Interns will work within the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD) and collaborate with local community organizations, gaining practical skills and insights that will shape their future careers.

How to Get Involved and Apply
COE undergraduate students who meet the eligibility requirements and have a passion for community service may apply.
We encourage all interested students to register for our virtual Q & A session on January 24.
