An Exceptional Opportunity to Work with Youth

Up to 15 College of Education undergraduate students will participate in a paid, immersive internship designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience working with youth in Central Texas during summer 2026. 

  • Valuable, real-world experience in working with youth
  • $2,000 Dean’s Community Service Award
  • Professional development and mentorship opportunities
  • Be a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student enrolled the COE
  • Have a 2.5 or higher GPA
  • Cannot be graduating on or before May 2026
  • Be available to live in the Austin area from Monday, June 1, 2026 through Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
  • Applications Open: January 15
  • Applications Close: February 6
  • Decisions Go Out: March 13
