Bridging Research to Practice
We pursue research in education and health that has the promise to improve lives and enhance the wellbeing of diverse populations of children, schools, and communities. Our overall research expenditures for the 2019-2020 fiscal year were over $38 million. Our faculty and researchers are awarded grants from federal and state agencies, and various foundations, such as the National Institutes of Health, the Institute of Education Sciences, the Texas Education Agency, the Spencer Foundation, and the William T.
