Abbigail Price

Abbi (she/her) is a doctoral student in the LD/BD program at The University of Texas at Austin and a LADDER Scholar (Leaders in Advancing Data Decisions for Educational Responsiveness). Abbi received her BA in Early Childhood Education from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She began her teaching career as a reading interventionist, which prompted her to pursue an MA in Education with a concentration in the Science of Reading, also from Mount St. Joseph. She then worked as a district dyslexia specialist and academic language therapist. Abbi’s research interests include teacher professional development in data-based decision-making to improve academic outcomes for students with reading difficulties.
