Hannah Halford is a doctoral student in the department of Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders in the College of Education. Prior to enrolling at the University of Texas at Austin, Hannah taught eighth and ninth grade English for seven years. She earned her B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN., and her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi as a member of the Mississippi Teacher Corps. Her research interests include secondary writing pedagogy and interventions and their impact on reading outcomes.
