Madeline O'Grady is a First-year Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology. As well as a Quantitative Methods master's student at UT Austin. She attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where she received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Special Education.
Madeline's research focuses on understanding different aspects of academic motivation. Two main areas of her work include: (1) how teachers and mentors can motivate students to learn; (2) how motivation is applied to different populations of students.
