Rodrigo Aguayo is a doctoral student in the Program of Higher Education Leadership and Policy in the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interest include men of color programs and their impact on Latino men within the P-20 educational pipeline.

Rodrigo also serves as program manager and instructor for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Concentration in the College of Natural Sciences at UT Austin. Prior to this role, he served as the program coordinator for Project MALES (Mentoring to Achieve Latino Educational Success), a research-based mentoring program focused on the educational outcomes for boys and young men of color within the Division of Diversity of Community Engagement at UT-Austin. Rodrigo earned a B.A. in Psychology from Texas State University in 2016 and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin in 2018. Outside of his studies and work, Rodrigo enjoys playing regional norteño music with his brothers and carne asada with his family.
