Sebastian Nunez is a doctoral student in the Educational Policy and Planning program of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2011, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Chile, and in 2016 he received the Equality of Opportunities Fulbright-CONICYT Scholarship for Ph.D. studies in the US.
His interests include privatization and test-based school accountability regimes.

Huriya Jabbar (Supervisor)
Examines the social and political dimensions of market-based reforms and privatization in education, including school choice and decision-making in K-12 and higher education contexts.
