Dr. Tracey Naumann is an assistant professor of practice in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She currently serves as the program coordinator and field supervisor for the Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) program. Tracey has presented in numerous conferences across the country. She taught elementary physical education in Austin, TX for four years and served as the treasurer for the Austin Association of Physical Education, Health, Recreation and Dance organization for 2. Tracey's research focuses on the marginalization and perceived mattering in physical education. She obtained a bachelors degree in Athletic Training, masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction, all from the University of Texas at Austin.
