Dr. Tracey Naumann is an assistant professor of practice in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She currently serves as the program coordinator and field supervisor for the Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) program. Naumann has presented in numerous conferences across the country. She taught elementary physical education in Austin, Texas for four years and served as the treasurer for the Austin Association of Physical Education, Health, Recreation and Dance organization for two. Naumann's research focuses on the marginalization and perceived mattering in physical education. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, all from The University of Texas at Austin.
