  • Interview Strategies
  • Résumé and Cover Letter Overview
  • Job and Internship Search
  • Graduate School and the Personal Statement
  • Navigating Career Fairs
Requests will be met on a first-come, first-served basis.

Promote Career Events

Texas Education Career Engagement hosts various workshops, career fairs, and networking events throughout the year. Encourage your students to attend career events and consider supporting the Education Career Engagement team by volunteering to staff or facilitate an event.

Refer Students and Recent Alumni

Refer students and recent alumni to us for a Career Coaching Appointment. Career Coaching appointments are 30-minute individual sessions with a Career Coordinator. Appointments are intended to be a more in-depth look at career strategies and questions such as:

  • Writing Résumés and Cover Letters
  • Finding Meaningful Experiences (Internships, Volunteering, Shadowing, etc.)
  • Exploring Careers
  • Interviewing
  • Finding/Preparing for a Full-Time Job
  • Developing Your Network
Students and recent alumni can schedule an appointment by emailing edcareerengagment@austin.utexas.edu or by visiting HireUTexas.

Recommend HireUTexas

HireUTexas is the campus-wide job and internship board available to all UT Austin students and alumni. Many events, including our virtual career fairs, are hosted within HireUTexas. Students can also schedule career coaching appointments through this system. Encourage your students to join!
