COE Invited Presentation: Who, What, Where: Implementation Challenges for Prevention Science
Evidence shows us that prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral health problems such as adolescent substance misuse is possible. Yet, many promising programs (What) fail to reach the people who might benefit the most (Who) through effective delivery systems (Where). This brief talk presented by Douglas Coatsworth, professor in behavioral health and associate dean of research at the University of Tennessee’s Center for Behavioral Health Research, will draw from several lines of research linking Prevention and Implementation Science to illustrate ways our projects have tried to address these issues.
