Collaborative Research Forum
Please contact Jay Brown, 512-414-9804, or Nathan Clemens, 512-475-6557 with any questions.
The University of Texas at Austin/Austin Independent School District (AISD) will curate a day of speakers, presentations, and networking opportunities in order to foster greater awareness of the work that university and school district researchers are conducting in pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade settings, share key findings, identify unanswered questions, and establish new collaborations.
The event is coordinated by the UT/AISD Research Collaborative and is supported by the Office of the Dean of the College of Education and the Austin Independent School District Department of Research and Evaluation.
The forum will include a variety of research topics and presentation styles including:
Keynote: 30-minute presentations from PK-12 and higher education partners focused on issues spanning several areas, projects, and/or collaborations.
Deep dive: 30-minute presentations from collaborative research teams; talks are paired with other presentations to make a session built around a central theme.
Ignite: 10-minute sessions from researchers and/or practitioners that focus on a key finding, implication, or problem. Presentations are paired together with a deep dive and other ignite sessions focused on a theme.
Poster: Focused presentations that graphically display important findings and allow for conversation.
