Proctorio Tips, Tricks, & Proactive Approaches for Final Exam Success

This Zoom-based training session will cover successful strategies for using Proctorio to remote proctor final exams. Presenters will assume that attendees are able to create a quiz in Canvas and enable Proctorio. The discussion will focus directly on the assessment types that tend to work best in an online environment, Proctorio settings that are suited for different exam formats (multiple choice, open-note, essay), and how instructors should interpret Proctorio reports after an exam. In addition, OI2 staff will illustrate some of the technical snags that students may encounter when using Proctorio for the first time and provide instructors with specific strategies for helping students minimize or even avoid problems altogether.
