SMARTER Workshop: Group-Based Trajectory Modeling (Part 3)

SMARTER Consulting is offering a three-part workshop on group-based trajectory modeling, also known as latent class growth analysis (LCGA) or latent class growth modeling (LCGM). This is an alternative to growth mixture modeling (GMM) that is powerful and easier to use than GMM in Mplus. It makes use of a SAS routine called Proc Traj that can be downloaded and installed using specific instructions.

• Alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco use trajectories from age 12 to 24 years: Demographic correlates and young adult substance use problems
• Developmental trajectories of marital happiness in continuously married individuals: A group-based modeling approach.
