Jane Gray supports the clinical training of students in the School and Counseling Psychology doctoral programs in the Department of Educational Psychology at UT Austin. She teaches clinically-focused courses and prepares students for psychology internship training. Gray's interests include motivational interviewing, clinical interventions for childhood behavioral and internalizing disorders and pediatric obesity, and preparing students for work in integrated settings with underserved populations.

Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program (2017-present)Funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, this project is a cross-campus collaboration between multiple colleges and schools at The University of Texas at Austin to train scholars in psychology, social work, psychiatry and nursing to provide integrated care to underserved patients. Scholars follow a competency-based curriculum focused on skills development in three key areas: integrated behavioral health, interprofessional practice and cultural competence. The projects aim is to train students from different disciplines together so they are prepared to work collaboratively as healthcare professionals.
Interprofessional Training in Integrated Health Services with Pediatric Populations (2016-present)
Graduate Psychology Education (GPE) program, funded by HRSA to train psychologists in integrated pediatric care using evidence-based, culturally competent treatment and foster interprofessional collaboration and training across health disciplines.
Texas Child Study Center Internship Initiative (2013-2015)
Project funded by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, focused on the continued development and initial APA accreditation of a psychology internship training program.
T exas Center for the Prevention and T reatment of Childhood Obesity (2009-2013)
Funded by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, this project included the design and implementation of a comprehensive interdisciplinary program to treat pediatric obesity with individual clinic, group, and community outreach programs.
