Jasdeep Kaur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin. She is originally from Punjab, India. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Ph.D. in Physiology from Wayne State University, Michigan. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas. Her research interests include racial disparities in vascular function and blood pressure responses during exercise in health and disease, and investigating the potential mechanisms for elevated sympathetic activation in patient populations such as type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
