Kelvin Phan joined the Athletic Training Program in August of 2020 as a clinical assistant professor. He served as the clinical education coordinator for the Athletic Training (AT) Program, which included fulfilling duties to meet CAATE Standards for program accreditation. He currently teaches undergraduate courses in the AT Program, and is involved with interprofessional education initiatives across campus.
Most recently, Kelvin spent four years at Springfield College (MA) working toward a Ph.D. while simultaneously providing medical services as an athletic trainer for the women's volleyball and baseball teams. Additionally, he served as a preceptor to Athletic Training Students and assisted program faculty with curricular needs.
Kelvin's previous faculty appointment was at the University of Charleston (WV) as an assistant professor and clinical education coordinator in the AT Program. While at UC, he served a dual role and worked as the AT for the softball team. He also served as a preceptor to students in the AT Program.
