Kelvin Phan

Dr. Kelvin Phan is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at The University of Texas at Austin, where he teaches in the Athletic Training Program and supports interprofessional healthcare education initiatives. He joined UT Austin in 2020 and has served in key roles related to clinical education, student development, and program accreditation.

Dr. Phan earned a Ph.D. from Springfield College, a Master of Science in Education in Athletic Training from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from The University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to joining UT Austin, he held faculty and athletic training positions at the University of Charleston and Springfield College, where he combined teaching, clinical education, and patient care for collegiate student-athletes. His professional interests include athletic training education, clinical education, and interprofessional collaboration in healthcare.
