DeMatthews study on the superintendent workforce featured in Ed Week

Associate Professor David DeMatthews analyzed data about superintendents in the state between 2010 and 2021. His new study examines the demographic differences in leadership and other functions within K-12 education. The report was the first study to come out of COE’s Texas Education Leadership Lab, which conducts research on often-overlooked topics in public education. The full article can be found here.
