After graduating from UT, I did a postdoc at Brown University, where I learned how to write grants and conduct large randomized controlled trials. Currently, I am a faculty member in the Department of Biobehavioral Sciences at Teachers College, Columbia University, where I have a $2 million grant from NIH. Doing research, teaching class, and mentoring students is fun for me, so that helps, but I attribute a lot of my success to my mentors, especially Dr. John Bartholomew.
