I am from rural migrant communities in Idaho. My folks are Mexican farm workers, the sort of travelers that would move annually with their families, following la cosecha from Texas cotton fields, north to Oregon cherry orchards and California vinards.

I am in the cultural studies in education program where I am studying racism from a Latin American, decolonial perspective. My most recent project is a piece that will be titled "From exteriority to the necropolis: The ontological journey of the Mexican farm worker".
