Alexandra Aguilar

Alex is a PhD student in STEM Education at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research explores how students resist the dominance of school mathematics within and outside the classroom. She is currently learning how to create a sense of community between researchers and collaborators through sharing and leveraging stories of resistance to quantitative silencing of qualitative experiences.
