Dana Tottenham is a doctoral candidate in the Executive Ed.D. Program in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Her professional areas of interest include the intersections of applied anthropology, international education, and alumni engagement. Her treatise focuses on reframing international education as social justice work, leveraging frameworks for critical consciousness, alumni engagement, and anthropological praxis in the case study design.

Dana is Senior Associate Director of Alumni Engagement at Emory University in Atlanta. She is an applied anthropologist and higher education administrator with 25+ years of experience including global program leadership, technology implementation, exchange programs, study abroad, global internships, alumni engagement, students advisement, scholarship administration, curriculum development and delivery, faculty collaboration, and supervision of professional staff.

Dana currently holds a leadership position as the Director of the League Lasso Writer's Circle on the Executive Team for the Global Leadership League, an international education organization that seeks to advance women's leadership skills, knowledge, and connections.

She lives in Decatur, Georgia, volunteers as a Scouts/Robotics/Swim Team mom, and loves to swim, run, and eat tacos. A native Texan, she enjoys traveling to Austin for the Ed.D. program and going to the Gregory Gym pool.
