Duyen grew up in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), Vietnam. Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with extensive experience in research and management.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (Summa cum Laude) and Master of Science in Health Behavior and Health Education. She is pursuing a PhD in Health Behavior and working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education, The University of Texas at Austin.
