Gaye Rosser is in her 22nd year in education with Hutto ISD. Her teaching career began in Hutto as a 7th-grade language arts teacher at Hutto Middle School (HMS). During her years at HMS, she was fortunate to serve in several leadership roles as team lead, department chair and instructional coach. These roles all helped Rosser realize she enjoyed making an impact outside of the classroom on a larger scale. Not long after that realization, she was accepted into the Principalship Program at The University of Texas at Austin.

Rosser’s administrative career began with an assistant principal job at HMS. She currently serves as the principal at Hutto Elementary School, where she has been the last seven years. She loves her campus and is grateful for her role as a campus principal where she is able to foster strong relationships with students and staff, ensure academic success, and develop and coach teachers. She is a proud member of the Cooperating Superintendency Program and is honored to learn from the esteemed professors alongside amazing leaders with a true commitment to the field and to the communities and students we serve.
