Prior to joining UT, Kim completed her M.S. in Higher Education and B.S. in English Education at Florida State University. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a middle school English Language Arts teacher before returning to her alma mater to work as an academic advisor in the Computer Science department and program manager in the Office of the Provost.
