As a dynamic and highly motivated professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, curriculum development, and instruction/training, I excel in building relationships and have a passion for educating the whole child. My ability to learn quickly, combined with my intuition and competitive nature, has driven my commitment to personal and professional growth and opportunities.
In my current role as an Area Superintendent at Leander ISD in Cedar Park, TX, I support and develop campus leaders who are passionate about ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. My responsibilities include engaging leaders in implementing Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), providing formative feedback, hiring and supporting high-quality leaders, and building strong collaborative relationships. Prior to this role, my administrative experiences include serving as Principal of Cypress Elementary, where I established a clear focus, managed change, and created a purposeful community, Assistant Principal at Grandview Hills Elementary IB World School, where I developed and led staff development programs, managed the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, and participated in IB self-study and re-authorization, and Education Coordinator at University Charter School, Texas Neuro Rehab.
With 11 years of administrative experience and 9 years of teaching experience, my journey has been marked by numerous peaks and valleys, each contributing to my growth as a leader. I am driven by a passion for empowering others and making a positive impact on student achievement. My goal in pursuing the Cooperative Superintendency Program is to gain the skills necessary to further my career and significantly contribute to the field of education.
