Sherron earned her bachelor's degree in biology from The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and her master's degree in biomechanics and movement science from the University of Delaware. She is currently a fifth-year doctoral student in the Health Behavior and Health Education program at the University of Texas at Austin, on track to graduate in May 2027. Her research focuses on physical activity engagement among women, with a particular emphasis on Black women. She examines how factors, including body image perceptions, influence their participation in physical activity, both positively and negatively. In addition to her research, she served as a teaching assistant for Social Determinants of Health, Human Sexuality, and Program Planning, where she also guest lectured. She served as an Operations Graduate Assistant at the Center for Research to Community Impact for 2 years. In that role, she helped establish an undergraduate scholars program and supported the center's oversight of interns and administrative tasks. She is currently a Successful Student Organization Program Graduate Assistant in Student Organizations, Prevention and Risk, within the Office of the Dean of Students at the University of Texas at Austin. In this new role, she expanded and supported the facilitation team by growing staff capacity, streamlining program operations, leading workshops for student organization leaders, and strengthening partner relationships through consistent communication and feedback systems.
