Yang-Hsin (Benson) Fan is a doctoral student in the Educational Psychology program at The University of Texas at Austin. He holds a bachelor's degree in Learning Sciences and a masters degree in Information and Computer Education. His research interests center on learning strategies, motivation, self-regulated learning, and educational technology. With a strong foundation in quantitative methods, especially clustering techniques, he investigates how students psychological characteristics and behaviors influence their learning processes and outcomes.
He is particularly interested in learning strategies, motivation, self-regulated learning, and educational technology. In addition, he is interested in studying various quantitative research methods, especially clustering techniques.
