Undergraduate Brochure

The College of Education offers three undergraduate degrees including a B.S. in Applied Learning and Development, a B.S. in Athletic Training, and a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health. Within these three degrees students can pick from a total of 10 majors.

Teacher Certification

We also have teacher certification options beyond degree plans. Students from all majors have the opportunity to become a teacher in their specialized field.

Incoming freshman, transfer students or current University of Texas students can apply for admission into the College of Education.

Graduate Programs and Specialization

The graduate school consists of 5 departments, covering different aspects of education. Choose from master's or doctoral programs that prepare students for careers in education through coursework and research.

Graduate Level Teacher Certification

We offer post-baccalaureate and graduate programs for those looking to become a teacher after completing their undergraduate degree. Our Master of Education degree can be paired with a teacher certification in a specialized area.

First-Year Interest Groups and Transfer Interest Groups help facilitate an easy transition into the College of Education. New students join a group of individuals taking similar classes, led by a peer advisor.
